National alliance for social responsibility - activities

STRATEGIC PLAN

The main aims include: 

• Providing conditions for support and development of service providers and employers of disabled people and other social groups and increasing their contribution for improvement of the social inclusion
  and the quality of life of the population.
• Improving the conditions for sucessful business and support for development of socially responsible corporations to increase their contribution to the social development of Bulgaria in accordance with the
  ethical, legal and social expectations of the society through equitable policies on pay, insurance, education, improvement of the labor conditions of the staff and realizing support through donations, sponsorships,  other partnerships. 
  
• Motivating and encouraging Municipalities, municipal and regional structures and other institutions
  to create a socially responsible environment and policies for implementation of local and regional socially responsible initiatives and activities for social support, social justice, social partnership and
  positive social development for improvement of the living conditions. 
• Inclusion of organizations and institutions working in the field of arts and culture for the implementation of socially significant activities, initiatives and projects
  forming adequate social attitudes, activity, positiveness and socially responsible behavior contributing to the social development of the society.

Part of the strategic tasks and activities include :

• Enlargement of the number of members, capacity and influence of the organization on the state and regional policies for partnerships with service providers and socially responsible subjects for the provision of quality services for persons with disabilities and ensuring independence in their lives.
  
• Provision of information and expertise, popularization and stumulation of the development of innovative local and foreign experiences and practices.
• Provision of conditions for national and international partnership.
• Support for the development of the culture and spiritual activities with social engagement.
• Increase of the social involvement of the Bulgarian Municipalities aiming at paradigma shift and change of the way of living in the country.
• Development of a network of regional offices through the members of the orgaization.
  Implementation of annual, thematical and regional fora.
• Realization of national, regional and local projects.
  International activity for import of foreign expertise, formation of European policies and development of partnerships in the Black Sea and Balkan regions.
• Participation and active influence on the process of establishing a market for the social services in Bulgaria.
• Involvement in the process of decetralization and deinstitutionalization of the services.
• Involvement in the formation and implementation of new local and national policies for the disabled people.
• Enlarging the number and range of the socially engaged subjects in Bulgaria and development of Corporate social responsibility.
• Participation in national, consultative, expert and professional boards, organizations and others.
